Dave and Jen Engagement Photo Gallery
I surprised Jennifer Rogers Wednesday, April 13, 2005 with my proposal for
marriage while we were floating over Fort Collins, Colorado in a hot air
balloon. After catching her breath, she said yes! We spent the day calling family and picking out a ring (don't
tell anyone, but it's a cubic zirconium until we can get a few stones in at the
local jeweler to pick from!) Here are a few photos from that day.
The night before I asked, I made a mix CD to
commemorate the proposal (63MB). If you're interested, the link is a
password-protected zip file with the mp3's of the songs on it, plus a playlist.
It's big, probably 4 hours to download over a 28.8 modem, but if you want it,
save the file to your hard disk and open it. The password is the state
Dave was born in, type it in all lower-case. Double Click the "A Modest
Proposal.m3u" file to listen to the songs in the order they were on the CD, or
open that file in your favorite MP3 player program.
